Orlando Fun at Disney World Water Parks
It is hot in Orlando during the summer. How hot you say? I think the average life expectancy of an ice cube is under a minute. If you travel to Disney what should you do? Simple answer go to Disney World Water Parks. The 2 water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have something for all ages from small tots to adults.
All pools in Florida remain busy during the whole summer months and the Disney World Water Parks stay even busier. The most crowded of the 2 water parks is usually Blizzard Beach because it’s the newer one and has more exciting slides. Typhoon Lagoon has roaring rapids, a smashing wave pool, and a shark reef where you can snorkel, but Blizzard Beach has the genuine thrill seeking slides.

Disney World Water Parks
There are 2 Disney World Water Parks in Orlando located at the Walt Disney's World Resort. Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach both with their own extremely imaginative themes.
The legend of Blizzard Beach's theme is that there was a freak blizzard in the region, which resulted in the building of Florida's 1st ski resort. Of course, the snow melted fast, resulting in an accumulation of soggy and snow-less ski jumps. The failed ski area was getting ready to shut down permanently when an alligator was noticed sliding down a jump and sloshing into a pond of water, hollering Yahoo. From there foward the ski area lived on as a water park, and the alligator called Ice Gator as it's mascot.

The parks hub is Miss Tilly- a shrimp boat staked upon a mountain called Mount Mayday that bursts out a 50-foot stream of water once a half hour, just ahead of the bells sounding of the watch on Miss Tilly. The mascot for this park is called Lagoona Gator.
